The federal government has again reassured it’s commitment to better the lives of Nigerians through the Social Investment Scheme program.
This was made known by the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Disaster Management, Sadiya Umar Faruk, during the official flag-off training of Independent Monitors of the integrated National Social Investment Program in Jos.
Previous complaints by some citizens who are meant to benefit from the government’s social programs had formed the introduction of Independent Monitors, to ensure effective implementation of all components of the federal government’s social investment schemes.
Represented by her Special Adviser on Technical Matters Sadiq Shehu, the Humanitarian Affairs Minister said that the federal government will continue to improve the lives of its citizens hence the Independent Monitors as agents of change.

Nigerians are hopeful that, the introduction of the independent Monitors, would Justify the means and ensure effective implementation of all government programs for the benefit of all Nigerians.
