Goods and property worth millions of naira, at Bishop Okoye street in Port Harcourt, were on Friday night destroyed by fire outbreak.
According to eye witnesses, the fire outbreak started at about 8pm on Friday night.
In the following morning, pains and anguish could be seen on the faces of the affected traders who could not salvage anything from the disaster.
They all described the cost of the destruction as unbearable.

The fire disaster victims, therefore appealed to the Rivers State Government to come to their assistance.
Bags of rice, beans, corn and cooking oils were amongst the goods destroyed by the fire outbreak.
