Students of Government Science College Kagara said they were starved and tortured for days while in the bandits captivity.
The hostages who were released on Saturday after 10 days in captivity said they were made to trek long distances on dust-covered bushes before they got to the point where they were kept by the gunmen.
He said they were tortured and starved parents, friends and we’ll wishers who earlier declined to talk to the press later agreed as they saw them alive.
Some parents of the rescued students told ait. live that they will take their children back to Government Science College Kagara as soon as it is reopened and described the unfortunate incident as a taste of faith from God.
