Zamfara Abduction: Head of Operation assures Nigerians that schoolgirls will be rescued alive

The Head of the Rescue Operation of the 317 schoolgirls abducted by bandits from the Government Science Secondary School, Jangebe, who is also the Commissioner of Police, Zamfara State, CP Abutu Yaro, has assured Nigerians and the parents of the victims that the operation will rescue them alive.

CP Yaro gave the assurance during the take-off of the surveillance helicopter to search the location where it is believed the abducted Jangebe schoolgirls are.

The police team for the rescue operation of the abducted schoolgirls at Jangebe community in Talata Marafa Local Government Area of Zamfara State, headed by the Commissioner of Police is set for the continuation of the rescue operation.

CP Yaro expressed optimism that the abducted schoolgirls will be rescued in no distance time.

He said the team of the rescue operation are on top of the situation and will deliver on the assignment bestowed on them which is to ensure the safe rescue of the over 300 schoolgirls abducted from the Government Girls’ Science Secondary School, Jangebe by bandits last Friday.

The expectations of Nigerians and the parents of the victims are to see the schoolgirls return hale and hearty.
