Two persons, a driver of a commercial bus and a passenger were Saturday evening abducted by gunmen along near Wasinmi Village, along Ife-Ibadan Expressway.
According to the Police Public Relations Officer Yemisi Opalaola, immediately after the incident happened, police operatives at a checkpoint close to the scene of the crime engaged the abductors in an exchange of gunfire.
But the abductors were said to have escaped through the bush with two people.

She added that operatives have been deployed to the scene of the crime while 3 suspects are in police net in connection with the asbduction.
