The Parliamentary Staff Association of Nigeria, PASAN, has threatened to shut down activities in Nigeria, if their demands are not attended to.
The staff who came out emmass to Protest at the ministry of justice in Abuja on Tuesday, are asking for the implementation of financial autonomy from the federal government.
They accused the governors of the 36 states of the federation of working against the actualisation of the autonomy for the state legislatures.
The National President of the association, Mohammed Usman, who said they may be left with no option but to fight for autonomy for state legislatures if nothing is done to implement the Executive Order 10 signed by the president.

Responding to the protesters the solicitor general of the Federation, Dayo Apata assured them that the Attorney General of the Federation will act on their demands.
The protesters were drawn from the 36 states of the federation.
