The Edo State Police Command has confirmed the abduction of two students and a staff of the National Institute of Construction Technology, Uromi in the Esan North-East Local Government Area of the State.
The three victims were on Wednesday night abducted by gunmen to an unknown location.
This incident happened 48 hours after the State Commissioner of Police, Philip Ogbadu said all kidnappers will be smoked out and their captives released to their loved ones within a short time.

Residents who are terrified by the brazen act of the kidnappers called on the State Government to rejig its security architecture.
The State Police Public Relations Officer, Bello Kontongs, confirmed that two students and a staff of the institute were taken by five gunmen.
He also said the Police in collaboration with hunters are on the trail of the kidnappers.
