The Federal Government has approved over three billion naira for the procurement of various equipment to strengthen the work of the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).
Minister of Health, Osagie Ehanire who briefed state house Correspondents on the memo he presented at the Federal Executive Council meeting on Wednesday in Abuja noted that the equipment will better position NCDC in diagnostic preparedness in coping with covid-19 and other diseases.

The Minister of Works and Housing, Babatunde Fashola, explained that FEC also approved over eight billion naira for the revised total cost of the Enugu-Onitsha highway.
The Federal Executive council further approved a review of the National Integrated Infrastructure master plan 2020-2043.
