The Special Task Force, Operation Safe Haven, OPSH, deployed to maintain peace in Plateau and Bauchi states and parts of Southern Kaduna, has neutralized one of the notorious armed robbery gangs operating within its operational areas.
The latest breakthrough, made public by the Commander of the Security Outfit, Maj. Gen. Dominic Onyemulu, occurred at about 11:45pm on Wednesday night after the OPSH received a distress call about a robbery incident at Kutaya Street, Jengre, in Bassa Local Government Area of Plateau State which the troops swiftly mobilized to the scene.

In the process, one of the armed robbers was neutralized, while the other 2 escaped with gunshot injuries. Items recovered include 1 AK 47, 1 Fabricated Rifle, 1 Automatic Pistol, 16, 9mm rounds ammunition and a Cell Phone.
