A day after an inferno destroyed billions of naira worth of goods at the Katsina central market, another fire incident occurred at one of the state owned tertiary institutions, the Umaru Musa Yar’adua University.

However, the public relations officer of the institution, Abdulhamid Danjuma said it was a minor fire incident. Danjuma stated this in a short WhatsApp message posted on a group chat and obtained by ait.live.
The institution’s image maker said, “It was just a minor fire incident in the senate building caused by a spark from an air conditioner.and in less than three minutes the fire was put off. No loss of even a single document and neither was there any destruction’.
