Kelechi Ihenacho has joined the Super Eagles in camp for their Africa Cup Of Nations Qualifiers against the Benin Republic and Lesotho.
The arrival of the Leicester City Forward generated excitement on the offical twitter handle of the team, as fans responded in different manners.
Some were critical of his late arrival, others questioned the omission of his latest ‘Senior Man” attribution, while others praised him for his performance in Leicester City’s 3-1 win over Manchester United in the English FA Cup Quarter Finals.

They asked him to replicate similar performance against Lesotho and Benin Republic.
Meanwhile, Coach Gernot Rohr has commended the positive attitude and spirit of the players in camp during Tuesday’s interaction with the media, while Team Captain Ahmed Musa, spoke on the team’s resolve to approach the assignments with full commitment.
Nigeria’s Super Eagles take on the Squirrels of Benin Republic on Saturday in Porto Novo, before rounding off the 2021 AFCON qualifiers on Tuesday 30th March, at the Teslim Balogun Stadium, Lagos.
