Gov. Okezie Ikpeazu

The Abia State Governor, Okezie Ikpeazu says his administration is irrevocably committed to changing the narrative of Aba, the commercial nerve centre of the state, in the area of infrastructural development.

The Governor stated this at the busy Port Harcourt road, Aba in continuation of a statewide project inspection, tagged “KINETIC ABIA PROJECT TOUR”, and assured that he will leave no stone unturned in reclaiming the lost glory of the Enyimba city.

Governor Ikpeazu who recalled that the Port Harcourt road project was flagged off in-company of his Ebonyi State Counterpart, Governor Dave Umahi restated that the project is financed solely by the Abia State Government without any federal government intervention.

The Governor also inspected the Emelogu, Ikot Ekpene, Ngwa roads, among others, he said his aim of opening up roads in Aba is to decongest traffic as well as create a conducive atmosphere for trade and commerce to thrive in the state.

Ikpeazu insisted that the negative propaganda by the opposition will not deter him from delivering the best for the residents of Aba.
