The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps has deployed 2100 officers and men in Plateau State to ensure a peaceful Easter celebration as well as protect critical national assets.
NSCDC Commander in the State, Stephen Jiyason made this known in a statement signed by the Command Spokesperson, Obasa Tanimola.
While wishing all Christian faithful a rewarding and peaceful Easter celebration, the commandant also advised citizens to be law-abiding and avoid any act of lawlessness, stressing that offenders will be prosecuted.
The statement assured the general public that the corps and other security agencies have put in place all the necessary strategies to ensure hitch free celebration.

It further called on the general public to report any suspicious movement by individuals or groups to the appropriate authorities.
