NSCDC Ondo State command, bursts illegal surface automotive gas oil depot

The perpetrators of the Illegal Petroleum products, Oil pipeline vandalism, and destruction of Critical National Assets and Infrastructure have been advised to stop the illegitimate and economic Sabotage or face the full wrath of the law.

In a Statement signed by the command Public Relations Officer, Olufemi Omole this Tuesday, the Ondo State Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC, Edenabu Eweka said that the Command through sustained and credible Intelligence had burst an illegal Surface Automative Gas Oil, AGO, – Diesel in Ore, Ondo State.

The Command Helmsman also affirmed that some criminal elements and Economic saboteurs used the arena as a storage base, after engaging in oil pipeline Vandalism on the high sea and the creeks in the Niger Delta region.

He added that these criminals also transported the illegally refined products through Badges and Boats to the Coastal areas of Ondo State mostly; Agadagba, Ijaw, and Ido Osun.

He further explained that the unscrupulous elements had proceeded by conveying the products using Buses, Jeeps and Cars to where it would finally be stored in the Surface Tanks located in Ore Town.

Some of the exhibits recovered from the scene are a Toyota Sequoia Jeep, a Toyota Camry Car, One Pumping Machine, two (2) Industrial Hose Pipes, 70 Kegs of 30 litres AGO and 35,000 litres of suspected adulterated Automated Gas Oil, AGO.
