The Delta State Police Command says it has arrested one Kingsley Gbeneku, the informant and staff of a new generation bank in Ughelli, Ughelli-North Local Government Area of Delta State where the Eagle Net Special Squad of the Command foiled the bank robbery on the 7th of April.
State Commissioner of Police, Ari Mohammed in a statement signed by the acting Police Public Relations Officer, Bright Edafe says, Kingsley Gbeneku, under interrogation confessed to have earlier provided the repelled armed robbers with modus operandi of the bank to enable them carry out a successful robbery.

The Commissioner of Police while assuring members of the public that the command under his watch will do all within its power to reduce crime in the State to the barest minimum also says serious effort has commenced to arrest other members of the gang.
It would be recalled that bank robbery is gradually becoming a recurring incident in Delta State following the first successful bloody incident at a new generation bank in Issele-uku, Aniocha-North Local Government Area of the State, on the 2nd of April.
