As the search for the missing military weapons continues in Konshisha Local Government Area of Benue State, traditional leaders and relevant stakeholders, have been tasked to ensure the return of the weapons unconditionally.
This was part of the resolutions reached by the State security council, at the government house in Makurdi the State capital.
Last week’s unfortunate ambush and the killing of 12 soldiers, deployed to ensure peace in Oju and Konshisha local government areas of Benue State, has unsettled not just the residents but also those in authority.

This had formed the basis for the expanded security council meeting, which resolved to amongst others ensure that the perpetrators do not go unpunished.
Stakeholders where equally adviced to refrain from making inflammatory statements and allow the authorities to handle the situation.
