The Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) has been called upon to ensure the people of the Niger Delta region participate actively in the formulation and implementation of its projects.
This was the view expressed by some traditional rulers at the NDDC stakeholders workshop in Uyo, the Akwa Ibom State capital.
The workshop with the theme ” effective budget preparation, implementation and monitoring strategies” was to seek inputs from critical stakeholders on how the communities can support NDDC achieve its mandate.
Participants welcome the stakeholders meeting which they said will assist in reducing projects duplication and ensure synergy amongst stakeholders in the Niger Delta region.
