A new assistant inspector general AIG of police in charge of zone five Benin Command comprising Edo, Bayelsa, and Delta states have resumed duty.
He is Isaac Akinmoyede, and he replaces AIG SHOLLA David who retired recently.
A statement released by the Zonal Police Public Relations Officer Tijani Momoh says prior to his deployment to Zone five, he was the AIG in-charge of Zone seventeen , comprising Ondo and Ekiti States.

The statement further says that AIG Isaac Akinmoyede was the Commissioner of Police in Imo State until he was promoted to his present rank in 2020.
