United Nations ranks Nigeria 2nd in under-5 mortality rate in the World

The United Nations has released a scary statement which ranked Nigeria 2nd in the world, with under-5 mortality rate due to various illnesses.

The UN statistics also showed that over nine million children die due illness before attaining the age of five.

As a matter of urgency, therefore, the fact-for-life stakeholders in Ibadan, Oyo State, southwest Nigeria, are calling on governments at all levels to take proactive measures on the issues concerning mother and child health situation.

The stakeholders said that today’s women are going through lot of mental torture.
