PHOTOS: APC Governors again visit Zamfara State

Governors under the platform of the All Progressives Congress, APC have visited Zamfara State, to condole with the State Government and the people, over recent attacks on some rural communities, where several persons were killed by bandits.

Chairman of the APC Governors Forum, who is also the Governor of Kebbi State, Atiku Bagudu, led his Jigawa State counterpart, Abubakar Badaru, to Gusau the state capital, to register their sympathy to the residents, over the renewed maiming and massacre of innocent citizens.

The crisis has led to the displacement of several rural communities in the state giving the people cause for concern.

Several persons have been killed and others left with gunshot wounds as many
members of the affected communities are now displaced.

Governor Bagudu, condemned the killing of law-abiding citizens, and prayed God to help the country overcome the security challenges that are claiming innocent lives.

Zamfara State Governor Bello Mohammed condemned in strong terms the killing of innocent citizens, and vowed to work with the security agencies, to restrategise, towards ensuring they restore peace in the State.

He insisted that the ongoing peace dialogue is one of the viable ways of restoring peace and tranquillity, hence his administration will strengthen the strategy, to ensure peace returns to the State.

The recent attacks on many rural communities have increased the number of displaced persons, as several villages were sacked by the attackers.
