The Federal Road Safety Corps in Gombe State has said it is currently working with other sectors in the North East to sensitize drivers in the region about the essence of safety on the highways during the Eid celebrations.
Sector Commander, Ishaku Ibrahim said the Road Safety Corps in Gombe will aggressively enhance the publication of the National Road Safety Strategies which is anchored on five pillars; Road Safety Management, Safer Roads Mobility, Safer Vehicles, Safer Road Users, and Post-crash Response.
The Sector Commander called on the people in the state to collaborate with the road safety Corps to ensure an accident-free EID celebrations.

The Sector Commander said the sensitization exercise was part of West African Road Safety Day and also to step up preparations for the Eid celebrations in a few days time.
With the world stepping up vaccination against Covid-19, the Road Safety Corps. said it will join in the sensitization program.
