As part of efforts to enhance the safety of the State, the Rivers State Government has reviewed the existing night time curfew across the twenty-three Local Government Areas of State.
Addressing the people in a Statewide broadcast Governor Nyesom Wike says the curfew will now start from 7 p.m. and end at 6 a.m. and would take effect from Tuesday 11th May, 2021.
He says the decision was also informed by last Friday’s multiple attacks that resulted in the death of seven Police Officers.
