The need to probe and prosecute all former political leaders at the end of every tenure should be prioritized by a new administration to reduce the worsening rate of corruption in nigeria.
This was the submission of a Pro-Democracy group, Coalition of Citizens of conscience for good governance at a media briefing in Abuja.

The rights activists want the economic and financial crimes commission, EFCC to also beam searchlight on other past political leaders suspected to have been involved in misappropriation of public funds while in office.
Since the inception of the Tinubu’s administration on May 29th, some top government officials are being prosecuted by the anti-graft agency including the suspended minister of humanitarian affairs, Beta Edu, former governor of Kogi state Yahaya Bello and the former minister of aviation, Hadi sirika.
