In its effort to seek a lasting solution to the lingering insecurity situation in Imo State, Christian religious leaders met in Owerri on Saturday, to brainstorm on the way out.
The recent killings and destruction of properties in Imo State, occasioned by the activities of gunmen have continued to be a source of worry for religious leaders in the state, hence the need for the scheduled meeting with Governor Hope Uzodimma.

The Prelate, Methodist Church of Nigeria, Samuel Uche, while addressing newsmen after hours of closed-door meeting, urged aggrieved persons to sheath their swords, to restore peace in the state.
The clergy advised youths in the state, to desist from being used as hirelings to cause mayhem in the state, adding that all must come together, and help put an end to insecurity in Imo State.
Hopefully, the call by the respected leaders will help bring insecurity in Imo to its feet.
