Few weeks away from the June 26, 2021 date for the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP Governorship primary elections in Anambra State southeast Nigeria, one of the aspirants, Senator Uche Ekwunife has continued her consultations with party stakeholders and statutory delegates in order to win the sole ticket.
Addressing the PDP stakeholders and statutory delegates of Nnewi South Local Government Area, Senator Ekwunife says she wants to become the preferred aspirant to fly the Party’s flag.
The Governorship hopeful appealed to the gathering to elect her as the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, at the June 26th primary elections assuring them that she has all it takes to win the main election on November 6, 2021.
Senator Ekwunife also attended a meeting of all the PDP governorship aspirants in the State which was convened at the instance of the Party’s former National Publicity Secretary, Olisa Metu.
A source at the meeting told AIT that it is aimed at adopting strategies that will ensure that the Party comes out stronger and more united after the June 26 primary election.

At the end of the closed door meeting, the aspirants agreed to work in unity as well as shun intra-party disagreements, and what they described as money politics.
They further resolved to support whoever will emerge as the PDP standard bearer ahead of the November 6 polls.
