The Maidakin said the kidnappers are demanding N900 million Naira as ransom for the victims in their custody.
The Maidakin also said the kidnappers raided the village for about one hour without any response, or reaction from the community or outsiders following the total absence of Telecommunication Network in the village, giving the invaders the opportunity to pick people from house to house in the community.
Till now, no official statement from the FCT Police Command on the incident.
The FCT Police Command Public Relations Officer, Josephine Adeh is yet to respond to calls and text messages put across to her telephone lines.
Cases of kidnapping seemed to have ceased in Abuja over the past few months but with this recent incident, the security authorities are expected to step up their games.
