The Nigeria Women’s Cricket Team on Wednesday, lost narrowly to host nation, Rwanda, by six runs at the kwibika international T-20 tournament in Kigali, Rwanda.
Nigeria won the toss and elected to field first. In the first innings, Rwanda posted 108 runs for the loss of eight wickets in two overs.

However the Nigerian side fell short in the chase, posting 102 runs for the loss of 7wickets in 20 overs to gift Rwanda a six runs win.
Salome Sunday and Etim Blessing, were top performers for the Nigerian side.
Salome was top scorer for Nigeria with 17 points while blessing got two wickets.
The result put Nigeria 4th on the log with no points after three matches.
They face Botswana on Thursday to wrap up their tournament.
