The organised labour in Zamfara State has joined their counterparts nationwide to picket the Electricity Distribution Company office in the state.
The State Chairman of the Zamfara State Council of the Trade Union Congress of Nigeria, (TUC), comrade Sai’du Mudi who led the members of the labour union to shut the Gusau office of Kaduna Electricity Distribution Company, said they are demanding immediate reversal of the increase in electricity tariff.

He decried that the removal of the fuel subsidy by President Bola Tinubu’s administration has created untold hardship for Nigerians, and the organised labour would not allow further suffering of Nigerians, hence the action.
