Benue State Governor Samuel Ortom has dismissed rumours that he is at loggerheads with President Muhammadu Buhari, insisting that he only disagrees with him on policy issues.
Ortom who sought to make the clarification during his 2021 democracy day press conference in Makurdi, the state capital, highlighted some of his administration’s achievements despite the economic and security challenges.

While admitting his administration’s inability to cope with the crisis occasioned by persistent herder attacks, Ortom pleaded for external support.
On the much talked Federal government plan to reopen grazing routes, the Chief executive insists Benue State will not be part of it.
