The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited, NNPCL says, the tank farm fire incident which occurred at the Marine Beach in Lagos Friday belongs to HOGL energy limited (honeywell depot) and not that of NNPC retail limited as wrongly captured on various social media platforms.

In a press statement released by the company to set the records straight, the NNPC Limited noted that the tank fire incident was caused by petroleum products spillage within the perimeter of the affected tank farm.
