A court in South Africa has sentenced the country’s former President, Jacob Zuma to 15 months imprisonment.
He was found guilty of contempt over his failure to appear before an inquiry into corruption allegations against him while he was President as directed by the court.
Zuma’s time in office was been plagued by corruption allegations including those involving arms deal by the infamous Gupta brothers.
