The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC, in Bauchi State, have paraded two persons for operating an illegal clinic in Mansur Village, Alkaleri Local Government Area, where a 25 years old woman, Nasiya Garba died.
The State Commandant, Nuraddeen Abdullahi, said the case was reported to the Divisional Office in Alkaleri, by the Village Head.
Abdullahi hinted that the deceased was asthmatic, and was at the clinic for medication, where she received Aminophylline injection.

A Desk Officer, Private Health Clinic in the Ministry of Health in Bauchi, Abdullahi Dan’asabe, confirmed that the suspect is not qualified to run a clinic.
The deceased’s husband, Inuwa said, his late wife was asthmatic, and this is not their first time at the clinic, following the lack of personnel at the government clinic in the area.

The suspect, Yakubu Gajere, is a diploma holder, from the School of Health Technology, Pankshin, Plateau State.
He said the Aminophyline injection was wrongly given by his staff, Jude Abarshi, which led to the death of the deceased.
The NSCDC Commandant, Nuraddeen said, investigations are still ongoing.
He also said that the NSCDC has invited the Nigeria Medical Association, NMA, as well as the Bauchi State Ministry of Health for professional advice on the matter before the suspects will be charged to court.
