Edo State Government has called on the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, to ensure that sponsors of football clubs in the country play by the rules.
This call was made by the State Deputy Governor, Philip Shaibu at the unveiling of the new Head Coach of Edo Queens FC at the Government House, Benin City.
The State Government has decided to appoint a new Head Coach, Wemimo Matthew who is a CAF “A” licensed coach to revamp the Edo Queens Football Club and lead them to do exploits.

Shaibu unveiled Wemimo Matthew presenting her with the club shirt and other accessories including an official car. Matthew who is also a Super Falcons Assistant Coach assures that she will put in her best in the discharge of her duties.
