Aside from the recent attacks that resulted in the killing of not less than 30 people in villages across Bassa, Jos South, and Riyom Local Government Areas of Plateau State in the last one month, 2 more people in Tamborong village of Ganawuri in Riyom LGA have been gunned down.

An eye witness, John Giwa, who is also the youth leader of the village told ait.live that the deceased were returning from Ganawuri market, before they were ambushed, but 3 of them narrowly escaped, while the other 2 were killed on the spot.

The youth leader commended the swift response of Operation Safe Haven’s personnel who rushed to the scene and aided in evacuating the corpses. He gave the names of the deceased as Sunday Dogo, 42, and Joshua Usman, 30.
