No fewer than six herdsmen have been killed in Jos South Community in Plateau State, North Central Nigeria.
The Plateau State Police Command while confirming the development to ait.live through it’s spokesperson, ASP Gabriel Ubah said five cows were also killed during the attack.
Ubah, said the Plateau State Police Command received a report of an attack at Chol village, Vwang District of Jos South Local Government Area by yet-to-be-identified armed men.
“Unfortunately, six persons and five cows were shot dead.

He added, that a Team of Policemen and STF sector six personnel were immediately deployed to the location to beef up security after the incident while investigation is ongoing to trail the perpetrators of the act and bring them to justice.
