The PDP National Assembly Caucus has thrown its weight behind the Southern Governors position, which kicked against the removal of the Electronic transfer of votes, in the proposed amendment of the Electoral Act.
On PIB, the group also rejected the 3% Equity share for host communities passed by the Senate and aligned with the 5% passed by the House of Representatives.

The Caucus also backed the position of the Southern Governors, that state governors must be duly informed before any security action can be undertaken in a State.
The PDP lawmakers also supported the idea of the State Police, while asking that all the deductions from the Police Trust Fund must be distributed to all States, to ensure the effective security of lives and property.
