The Attorney general of the federation and minister of justice, Lateef Fagbemi has said that president Bola Tinubu has recorded a robust framework through joint investigation with various agencies within his first year in office.
Within this period, there has been a total of 160 criminal convictions, including 87 convictions.
In the anti corruption war, the international arbitration cases particularly the P&ID , Nigeria was saved from $11 billion liability securing £20 million interim costs.
Other parasatals under the ministry also made significant achievements.
Legal aid handled five thousand cases, national human rights addressed over 2.8million human rights complaints.

Nat . Drug law enforcement Agency – arrested 13,798 suspects, secret 3,247 convictions counsel 7,586, rehabilitate 1,337.
On terrorism financing, 13 convictions and 12 extraditions were made.
There was also the drafting of national policy on arbitration to promote Nigeria as an arbitration hub.
When the attorney general was asked about Nanmdi Kanu’s fate, Fagbemi, revealed that the offence of the detained leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) Nnamdi Kanu is a difficult one and can only be resolved by competent court of law.
