An Abuja bound train has derailed within the Jere axis of the railway.
AIT gathered that the incident which occurred around 8am after take off from Kaduna on Sunday recorded no casualty but had the passengers stranded for some time.
A source who spoke to AIT on condition of anonymity confirmed the derailment, adding that the passengers had since been taken to their destination, while operations on the corridor continued.
The Nigeria railway corporation is expected to issue a statement to give further details of the incident.
