President Bola Tinubu has congratulated Nigerians on 25 years of unbroken democracy, highlighting the significance of the National Assembly in the country’s progress.
The President while addressing the National Assembly hinted at transmitting the 2025 Appropriation Bill to the lawmakers soon.
President Tinubu says the hallowed chamber of the National Assembly represents freedom and a sense of belonging. He emphasised that without the National Assembly he may not have found a path to the Presidency.

He urged lawmakers to continue collaborating and working together to build the country, stressing that it is their collective responsibility to ensure the country’s progress.
He advised the lawmakers to continue to work for the betterment of the country stressing that no other personalities or institutions will help except they do it themselves
President Tinubu also cautioned that the international community prioritises their own interests first, before looking out for others. He says we must build the country’s democracy so that future generations will see progress.
