Commandant-General of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC, Ahmed Audi, has warned vandals of critical national asset to be ready to get exposed and meet their waterloo, as long as they continue to sabotage government efforts.
This is coming as the anti-vandal unit of the Niger State Command of the Corps, intercepted two-trailer loads of railway tracks and slippers on the highway, in Mokwa Local Government Area of Niger State, North-Central Nigeria.

Following credible intelligence and eagle-eyed surveillance of the corps, Commandant Joachim Okafor said, the anti-vandal team was able to intercept the consignment, while the drivers, upon citing danger, abandoned the trucks and ran away.

Okafor further said the owners of the trucks and the vandalised railway materials are yet to be known, as the investigation is ongoing.
While assuring the Commandant-General of the Corps of his men’s readiness to act on his marching orders of intensifying surveillance and security watch over all critical national assets and infrastructure, Okafor assured that Niger State will not be used as an escape route for vandals and other criminal elements.
The State Commandant said that, even with the limited operational vehicles in the Command’s possession, operatives will continue to work in synergy with other security agencies, so that the Niger State will be a safe place for everyone.
