Zamfara State Governor, Dauda Lawal has again said he will not negotiate with bandits terrorising the state but rather declare an all-out war against them.

The governor restated this position during the “Walk for Peace,” where he, his wife and top government officials walked from the Government House to Freedom Square in Gusau, the state capital, to mark Democracy Day.

The Walk for Peace started from the Government House in Gusau to the former Bello Barau Roundabout, which the governor had recently renamed Freedom Square.

While ruling out negotiations with criminals Governor Lawal said his administration will do everything possible to restore peace, stability and order in the state.
