The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA Ogun State command says 147 suspected drug dealers were arrested and 86 convicted within five months.
The state Commander of the NDLEA, Commander Of Narcotics Tijjani Rabe disclosed this on Monday in a press briefing, at the command headquarters, Abeokuta, to commemorate the 2024 United Nations International Day against drug abuse and illicit drug trafficking.
He revealed that over three tones of Cannabis Sativa also known as Indian hemp were seized during the period under review

The NDLEA Ogun State Command boss called on well meaning Nigerians to speak out on prevention of illicit drugs in the society.
He reiterated the need for Nigerians to come together to stamp out drug menace from society.
