Fire outbreak at Dangote Refinery in Lagos

The management of Dangote Industries Limited, owners of the Dangote Refinery confirm fire incident that engulfed a section of the effluent treatment plant in Lagos State, South-West Nigeria.

In a statement released Wednesday and signed by Group Chief Branding and Communications Officer, Anthony Chiejina, says the fire incident was swiftly put off with no record of injury or death.

The statement further noted that the Refinery is still up without any disruption in its operational capacity, with a note to the public that there is no cause for alarm.
