The Officers were sighted in a viral video assaulting the staff of Regional Hotel in an early morning sting operation which is said to have yielded the arrest of a sizable number of suspects who are still being profiled.
While there are complaints of assaults during the raid, the EFCC Chairman has ordered a detailed investigation of the operation and assured that appropriate disciplinary measures would be taken against any of the Commission’s Officers found culpable.
Olukoyede assured the Public that the anti-graft Agency would continue to ply its job professionally with profound respect for the Rule of Law.
