The newly posted Commissioner of Police to the Kebbi Command, Bello Sani, has met with the Tactical commanders, Area commanders and DPOs after assumption of duty at the State Headquarter, Gwadangwaji, Birnin-Kebbi.
The CP charged the officers to be proactive, ensure synergy with other security agencies, members of public and comply with relevant laws in the discharge of their duties.
CP Bello Sani used the occasion to decorate two senior Police officers who were recently promoted to new the ranks of Assistant Commissioners of Police (ACP).
The Kebbi Command Police boss congratulated the newly promoted on behalf of the Inspector General of Police and charged them to be more committed while discharging their duties, as to “whom much is given, much is expected.”
He called on them to consider their promotions to their new rank as recognition of their hard work and dedication to duty, as well as motivation and additional responsibilities.
He however solicited for the support and cooperation of the officers in ensuring conducive and secured atmosphere in Kebbi State, as he cannot do it alone.
