The 35 Artillery Brigade of the Nigerian Army, Abeokuta, Ogun State, has emerged winner of the 2024 Inter-Brigade Warrant Officers and Senior Non-commissioned Officers Competition.
The General Officer Commanding 81 Division, Major General Mohammed Usman, who was represented by the Division training officer, Brigadier General Oluwole Davies, urged troops to remain committed to the philosophy of the military and be resilient in service to the nation.
The 9 Brigade, 35 Artillery Brigade, the Engineering Brigade and the Division Garrison participated in the games which featured Map orientation, combat swimming, weapon handling and obstacle crossing.
35 Artillery Brigade Alamala emerged winner while 81 Division Garrison came second followed by 45 Engineering Brigade in the third position while 9 Brigade came fourth.
The competition was designed to help improve leadership qualities of warrant officers and non commissioned personnel and the ability to independently carry out initiatives.
