The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC and the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC have been told to map out new strategies to curb the alarming rate of electoral fraud ahead of this year’s governorship elections in Edo and Ondo states.
The view was expressed at a world media conference organised in Abuja on corruption in Nigeria and the electoral processses organised by the coalition of civil societies for good governance.
The group is unhappy with the anti-graft agency’s poor handling of corruption cases as it appears selective.
The activists say they will not leave any stone unturned in ensuring that a level playing field is created for all political parties and their candidates.
