Gov. Ododo Distributes Security Gadgets To 1,050 Hunters In Kogi State

Kogi State Governor, Usman Ododo

Kogi State Governor, Usman Ododo has distributed security gadgets to 1,050 hunters in a strategic move to strengthen the security architecture of the State so as to effectively curb crimes and criminalities.

Governor Ododo during the distribution ceremony of the gadgets in Lokoja on Thursday called for deepened collaborations among security agencies to enable them to fight criminally minded persons across the State.

Governor Ododo expressed his administration’s commitment to dealing decisively with any one who intends to disturb the peace and security of the people of Kogi State.

The Governor therefore encouraged the hunters to remain very professional by assisting other security agencies in combating crimes in all parts of the State.

The Kogi State Police Commissioner, Bertrand Onuoha alongside the State Security Adviser, Commodore Jerry Omodara (Retired), explained that the gadgets distributed will assist security personnel in the State to reduce crimes.

ait.live recalls that the Kogi State House of Assembly had in June 2024 approved the recruitment of 1,050 hunters to improve the security architecture in the State.
