The Ogun State Government has appealed to the Federal Government to expedite action on the dilapidated Lagos, Sango-ota , Abeokuta expressway and other Federal Roads in the state.
Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Kayode Akinmade who made the call while on a visit to the NUJ, Ogun State, chapter secretariat said the state is ready for collaboration with the federal government to fastrack the rehabilitation process of all Federal Roads in the state
Efforts by Governor Dapo Abiodun to get federal roads in the state rehabilitated appear to be yielding results nine months after following approval by the federal government for the Ogun State Government to embark on the reconstruction of the dilapidated roads.

The visit Tuesday by the government official to the NUJ secretariat is to further appeal to the federal authority to keep to its promise on the planned rehabilitation.
Residents say they remain optimistic that the road rehabilitation will be done to enable them enjoy the dividends of democracy under the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Tinubu.
