The Nigeria Customs Ogun 2, area command, has announced a revenue generation of over 12 billion naira within the first six months of 2024.
The Customs area Controller, Comptroller Olusola Bisi Alade who disclosed this to journalists, Friday during a press conference at the command headquarters, Abeokuta said the amount is over 4 billion higher than the generated amount in the Corresponding period of 2023.

Comptroller Alade who noted that the recorded success leading to the 51 percent increase in the generated revenue is largely due to the dedication of officers and men of the command, also disclosed
the discovery of some factories that have been operating under cover for illegal business activities.
Comptroller alade also advocated effective collaboration and synergy between the customs and stakeholders as a means for improved service delivery.
